A Little About Laziness.

Wow…I have really been neglecting my blogsite…I haven’t posted in quite a while…tisk tisk.

Here’s what I’ve been up to…

Congrats to Courtney and Michael Samford ! 

Their reception was held at Fasig-Tipton and planned by Jackie Lee of Every Last Detail…The couple looked great, the food was yummy, and the crowd never stopped dancing !!

Talon Winery look amazing thanks to Rayna Ortwein and her awesome staff at Always Planned, the delicious food was provided by Saul Good, and judging by the crowded dance floor, I’d say everyone had a great time !!

Last weekend was another fantastic reception…Yay ! for Emily and Bobby Jenkins !!

I am SO thankful for the opportunity to be a little part of such big days !  Honestly, this is the best gig ever.

 

Perfect Advertising

Man…LeBron James, Magic Johnson, and Ben Roethlisberger at UK games !! I need to get John Calipari to carry around a stack of my business cards !!  Of course I would have to compensate him for his endorsement, sooo…. Hmmmm…..

Oh well,  so much for that.

Late Summer DJ Special !!

I have noticed that a couple of the area’s best wedding planners have been offering specials to their brides for 2010 bookings, so D.Jay Music Service is gonna step up and add to the sweetness of your deal.

Any event booked during the month of August will receive a $10 per hour discount…that’s right, a 4-hour wedding reception will only cost you $560 !!  Plus, our deposit is a lowly $200…so book now !

Busy Week Ahead !!

I will be in Louisville on Friday night for Kathleen Stone and Rob Lang’s wedding…I am really excited for them.  We met for coffee and convo in Florence last month, to discuss the final details of their reception…and I would like to say that I can just tell that they have something special…I enjoyed our time together and felt like I had known them for a while.  It gives me great honor to be there on their wedding day to celebrate their union.

I would also like to give a special thanks to my Oct 2, 2009 bride, Shannan Meece for introducing me to a beautiful reception song…”We Are Man and Wife” by Michelle Featherstone…WoW !!  Check it out !

Looks like Summer is finally here !!

I have to admit…the weather today has really rejuvenated me.  I took a moment earlier to reflect on where I am in the scope of things, as far as my goals for the year are concerned.

Lets see…

• Health: Could be better, but I’m alive and loving it ! Thank you !
• Money: Next
• Family and Friends: Blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful people.
• Business: Wonderful ! Whats not to love about Wedding Season?
• Love: I don’t know why she chooses me, but I’m glad she does.
